Chilton Juniors U12's Reds

Chilton Juniors Reds

The U12’s Reds compete in RFYL Division 10 and are one of the closest, longest‑standing groups in the club — with most of the lads (and our one lass!) having played together since U7s. That bond shows every single week.

They play their home games on Saturday mornings at Chilton Academy, always giving everything and always representing the club with pride.

They’re fantastic kids, supported by fantastic parents, and every one of them should be proud of the young footballers — and young people — they’re becoming.

Race For Life Mud Run

June 2026

In June, our Reds took on the Race for Life Mud Run for Cancer Research UK — and they were absolutely outstanding. Through mud, water, obstacles and plenty of chaos, the Reds showed exactly what they’re all about: heart, teamwork, and a never‑give‑up attitude.

They ran for loved ones, for our community, and for a cause that means so much to so many. Every single one of them dug deep, laughed hard, and finished with smiles as big as the puddles they jumped in.

Backed by brilliant parents and families, the Reds did Chilton Juniors proud — on a day that was messy, meaningful, and full of memories.

A cracking effort from a cracking group of kids.

Our Tribute.....

In October, during their Cup tie against Coxhoe Blacks, the Reds paid their own heartfelt tribute to Billy Cornbill and Kevin “Simmer” Simpson. Before kick‑off, the team observed an impeccably kept minute’s silence, standing together as one. Every player wore black armbands bearing Billy’s and Simmer’s names — a simple gesture, carried with real meaning.

The Reds went on to win the match and dedicated the victory to Billy and Simmer, honouring two Chilton legends in the best way they know how: with pride, respect, and togetherness.
