Chilton Legends

Billy Cornbill

A Lifelong Supporter of Chilton Football

Alan “Billy” Cornbill — a man whose strength, courage, honesty, and unwavering loyalty shaped Chilton football for decades. Billy was generous in spirit, devoted to the village, and always made a positive impact on everyone around him.

Kevin Simpson

Kevin “Simmer” Simpson — a player whose exceptional talent, natural footballing ability, and unmatched skill made him one of the finest to ever represent Chilton. Simmer set standards that inspired teammates, coaches, and young players across the village.

Colin “Otter” Otterwell

A man whose humour, warmth, and love for Chilton football made him one of the village’s true originals. Otter brought people together, lifted spirits, and reminded everyone what football in Chilton is really about: friendship, laughter, and belonging.

Trevor Fulton

A Chilton lad through and through. Larger than life, loved by everyone, and daft as a brush in the best possible way. His humour filled every room, and his obsession with Newcastle United was legendary.

Trevor brought joy, laughter, and pure character wherever he went. A true Chilton original.

Colin “Ped” Peddlety

A Chilton lad through and through, loved by many for his humour, his honesty, and his big personality. Ped loved his football, loved a bet, and loved his legendary trips to Benidorm, where he was in his absolute element.

A proper character, a proper Chilton lad, and someone who’ll always be remembered with a smile.

Eric “Monty” Campbell

A man who gave decades of loyalty, graft, and leadership to Chilton football. Straight as a die, dependable, and respected by everyone, Monty kept the club running and the community together.

His honesty, dedication, and pride in Chilton will always be part of who we are.
