A key purpose of the adults team is to offer a clear pathway for Chilton’s junior players. As they progress through the youth ranks, the senior side stands as a natural next step — enabling young players to continue their football journey within the club and ultimately represent Chilton at adult level.
League & Achievements
In their inaugural season, Chilton Club FC Adults secured promotion from the Third Division of the Swinburne Maddison Durham Sunday League, demonstrating both ambition and competitive strength. This early success provides a solid foundation for future progression within the league structure.

The team plays its home fixtures at the Charlie Wayman Field, a venue with deep historical significance in local football. Its role as the home of Chilton’s senior side reinforces the club’s commitment to preserving and revitalising football within the village.
Coaching & Leadership
The adults team is led by coaches Martin Overend and Andy Dunn, who bring experience, structure, and continuity to the senior setup. Their leadership ensures alignment with the club’s wider philosophy, creating a seamless link between junior and adult football.
